Alameda beach

On Monday 14/2010 we went to Almeda beach to get fun. This was so funny because all my classmate enjoyed the time we spender in the beach. Some student played soccer in their and other did other things that make everyone fun. I didn't enjoyed this because when we arrived their I lying down and follow sleep until we came back to the bus station. When we walked black we stop in the ice cream store and some student bought ice cream for their self. So we spending like 20 minutes in their then after that we took the bus to got back I think my class possession is the most fun class because we have many adventures on this three weeks.

Art Review

Today, I saw different kinds of art murals that it is looking very nice and make people feeling.In the artwork, you can see people are protesting together which I believe represents a political or social message at struggles. In this artwork you can see many different colors that make this mural looking beautiful. If you see this artwork represent a robot and many another object that make good seen.When i saw this mural artwork i felt exciting because who painting this mural are good in mixing thing that represent our world. Also, I felt good because it's very nice this mural.

Street Fashion

 Every time we went to a field trip, we saw people wearing many different kinds of casual or formal clothes and shoes that  people use.I remember when we went to San Francisco. Outside of the embarcadero Bart Station, I saw people wearing fancy clothes people wearing ties, T-shirts, and elegant shoes. This people look like they are educated as professional. Also, I saw people wearing traditional as my country culture. So in this world exciting many kind of traditional people, I mean that people make our world better and the people don't do anything to improve the way people live. The people who wore this outfit it was a blond, white, tall, beautiful lady was wearing outfit. She look very confident. She walked straight and fast. Also, shes poke English.

Cultural Review

Today, I experienced the Vietnamese culture. We went to a Vietnamese Restaurant to eat some of their dishes. One thing I learned about this culture is they have different kind of food and they eat with chopsticks. In this field trip, I saw the Vietnamese people make food different to my country and i hear many people noising when we went to the restaurant.This is different than my culture because the way they use to eat the food is different of the way of my country use. In this field trip, I saw many different kind of people the I even know. This is different than my culture because they speaking other language of my country. Also they wearing different clothes of  people of my culture. These not make me much feeling, but sometimes I was feeling nervous because when you see people you don't even know, you might not have the way to connecting with this kind of people.

Albany Bowl

Friday my classmate left some student because was late when they arrive at the school that including me. But four of us we went in Rustar car to got  Albany Bowling. So this field trip was so fun because we play so many different things in their that make us felt good.So I enjoyed this field trip I think this was the most fun field trip we had on this three weeds before.After that we went to a little park where we wrote about what we did well in the Albany Bowling and took some relaxing moment. Then we took the bus and everybody left to their own home.

Tilden Park

On Thursday we went to the Tilden Park little war aways of Oakland International High School. We took to buses to got their the first bus we took was the 1R and we get out on Downtown Berkeley then we took the 57 bus that bus left us closer to the Tilden Park. also we walked for like 20 minutes and we got their. This field trip was so fun because we saw a lot of different kind of  animals and we played with then.I think everyone got fun because after that we went to play soccer. Many students were playing but mostly of my class were sent down and relaxing over the grass.

Why so Serious?

UC Berkeley

    Friday was a excellent day because we went to a   field trip. I fell happy because I enjoyed the field trip. Now I going to tell you where was the field trip? and what we did in this? So the field was in UC Berkeley and we did a lot of thing when we arrived their. For example we started interview some students that going to UC Berkeley and  asking some questions that we made in group before we left of Oakland International High School. That the questions I did asked are what is like to being in college? and the other question was Are you involved in any clued in college like sport? the last question I did ask was what is the most part to being in college? So went we arrived on their I only focused in those questions because every student had assigning their own questions. After we saw around all college the teachers took us and lest know us we are going to the ice cream store to get some ice cream. So then we stated walking to the store because everybody exciting to got the ice cream. Finally we took the bus and came back to the school. In the bus everyone looked so tired because we had a wonderful day in UC Berkeley.

San Francisco Embarcadero

This is picture from San Francisco Embarcadero. We went their the last  Tuesday Embarcadero it's looking nice. their are a lot of people and  many different kind of people I think San Francisco is a good place to enjoy when people have free time because their is so many beautiful place on their. We went their because our class relate in field trip. We did a lot of things in San Francisco. When we arrived their the teachers told us that they give us free time but we have to came back on time.So I saw many different things like restaurants, housing, cars, people, and another things too. 

Dontown Oakland

On Monday we did a lot of things that it help us to improve and help us to learn more about this class. First, we stayed in the library and work in our blogger on the computers.That means that 8:40 until 11:15 we spend time in our project, then after that we went to Downtown Oakland where we met a helpful person that teacher us how downtown look like . she was so nice we us. I think she did it for us because she are interesting in our school because not body can't doing this thing she did we us. this day i didn't have the opportunity to stay while day with my classmate because i went to Laney college to saw the counseling because i will take class in their in summer school. But the time i was we my class I learned a lot of interesting things about Downtown Oakland.

How my English are Growth up

        

          










       
I think English it is the most important class for people who come to other country, because they don't even know English in their countries.For example when I came to this country I didn't speak any word in English and now I can support a conversation with any people who speak only English.  So I think i Growth up in my second language and I hope to learn more because I want to go college to get my life better. So in my opinion we have to study English to speak and witting English because it's the official languages of U.S. Also, to get a job you most have to speak this languages that's why English  is important to us. I like English because I really want to improve my English.  My first day of School I was nervous because I did not know any of the students of Oakland International High School, and doesn't   had idea how  School is in united state.

Vietnamese Restaurant

On Wednesday we went to a restaurant in telegraph that it is call PHO. this restaurant is so good because they serve and have many delicious food. And it is small restaurant but i think a lot of people come to eat because the food is good.For example one food i did taste was egg rolls is one food that is taste like salty but everyone like it. This food is look like rolled in a tortilla and also they putting vegetables inside the tortilla.this is smell oil and other things too. Also their menu includes chi ken wing, egg rolls, soups, drinks, desserts, and other delicious food that tastes so good.I think this restaurant will growth up in business because they have many scale rating.

         Hello this is Jose, I'm here to make this web site because today I have the opportunity to create a new Google site.. I'm a student at Oakland International High School.  I want to be a good student to help other students who don't understand or who need help.  I have been at this School for like 3 years so I know some of these students and most don't speak  English well but they try to learn, and this School is the only help immigrant people get prepare to go  college and get a better life. I’m happy now because this School brings me the opportunity to prepare for  my  future.

   
             Now I’m going to tell something about my future. First, the main thing for me is to continue to study to prepare my life. That means  I will go to  college to get a better education because in this country you  need to have a titulo to get good job, where you can get enough money to live in the U.S. The other thing I would love to do  is go back to my country, to see all my friends and family, because I miss they in my life, so I think those things are the most important in my life for the moment. Also, I have to finish other things too, but now I will focus in those things.
